Family oriented and run by a sister, brother, and husband, Liberty’s Famous Pizza opened their Framingham business in 2006. After growing up in a breakfast/lunch diner, owner Vasoula and her brother Yanni have been in the food business ever since. As a former owner of Liberty Pizza in Natick, Vasoula and Yanni brought her original pizza recipe to help reclaim the fame that Famous Pizza had once had. Originally known as Famous Pizza, the business was created in the mid-50’s where it was the supreme pizza place in the area. There are stories of police officers having to conduct traffic on Friday and Saturday nights to maintain the large crowds who came to enjoy Famous Pizza. After winning awards year after year for her delicious recipes and creations at Liberty Pizza in Natick, Vasoula and Yanni purchased Famous Pizza and decided to change the name to Liberty’s Famous Pizza in hopes that people would recognize the well known Liberty name and quality.”We are known for friendly customer service, generous portions, best quality ingredients…we make our own dough several times daily, our own sauce, and we cut our own pizza cheese. Our chicken cutlets are made fresh and we are well known for it. We make fresh chicken and tuna salad daily and we are also known for our crisp, fresh salads. Our seafood comes in twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. Liberty Famous Pizza's sauce is sweeter than other sauces and can also be substituted with olive oil and homemade Alfredo sauce or marinara sauce.” Liberty Famous Pizza has won “Best Subs” 9 years and has won ”Best Takeout” 4 years.
